Adolescent Classes
Ally runs follow on classes from puppy classes for pups aged 16 weeks to 1 year when your pups are in that ‘teenager’ phase.
Adolescence is such an important time in our pups lives as they are going through some big changes physically, mentally and emotionally. We need to ensure we are setting them up to come through that adolescence phase in a happy and positive way, to be that easy family pet that we are all wanting.
Ally’s adolescence classes focus on perfecting the basics, working on a reliable recall and stay, tackling loose lead walking, teaching some fun tricks, working on behaviours that may have popped up since puppy class like jumping up and over-excitement and continuing to build a strong relationship between you and your dog that will stick for life.
Adolescence is really the time that we should be increasing our training with our dogs, not settling for undesirable behaviours. This is just the beginning of your dog training journey and we need to put a lot of time and energy into our little furry friends to ensure our dogs are stress-free family pets and can cope with what life throws to both us and our companions.
